Gus Miclat was the first international guest lecturer to come onboard for this voyage. he is talking about the problems in Mindanao, Philippines, where he is from, and the ways he and his group, International Initiative of Discussion, are working toward a more peaceful situation. he is also a representative of GPPAC, the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict. he pauses here for his English to be interpreted into Japanese.
